The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer says she now lives a clean life as she prepares to get married to her long time fiance Liam Hemsworth. The 24 year old music star, Miley Cyrus has said that she quit smoking weed because she feared that she would overdose and die on live TV.
She made the confession on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show, “I had a dream that I would die during my monologue on Saturday Night Live for some reason. That I would just get so stoned that I’d just, like, died – which I’ve Googled and that’s never happened,” she said.
Miley confessed that her weed smoking game was on another level hence her conviction that her nightmare could happen if she didn’t stop. “It’s like no one’s ever died from weed, but no one’s ever smoked as much as I did! It’s weird to be here; Remember the last time I was here? I was dressed as a bunny rabbit and then like a cat. There’s a reason for that – I was high!
“I like to surround myself with people that make me want to get better, more evolved, open. I was noticing, it’s not the people that are stoned. I want to be super clear and sharp, because I know exactly where I want to be,“she added.
She recently delivered a strong performance at Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester gig with her new release Malibu.
She is rumoured to be getting married on July 4 to her 27 year old Australian lover, Liam.
