The members of One Direction may be hard at work on solo projects, but they won’t be apart for too long — at least according to
Niall Horan .
During an interview on Lorraine last week, the singer said a reunion is pretty much inevitable.
“It’s a no-brainer really. Also, it’s only been a year and a half. A year and a half in a life span is not that long,” he told host Lorraine Kelly, as reported by DigitalSpy .
In the meantime, Horan says he and his fellow bandmates — including Harry Styles,
Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne — are having “fun” working on their individual projects .
“Everyone’s bringing out all sorts of different types of music and we’re all doing it at the same time which is great. Everyone’s getting a good look in,” said Horan, who previously revealed that he wouldn’t have pursued a solo career had the band still been together. “It’s just been really fun actually.”
This isn’t the first time Horan has been adamant about One Direction reuniting . In a Billboard interview last month, the singer even proposed a timeline for when the guys might team up again.
“I’d prefer not to do it after I’m 40. I’d prefer the next few years,” Horan told Billboard about when One Direction might possibly reunite.
