After making a name for herself in reality TV and fashion, Lauren Conrad is embarking on a new adventure— motherhood. On Wednesday, July 5, Peopleconfirmed that Conrad gave birth to a baby boy, and he's got the cutest name. She and husband William Tell welcomed their son Liam James, which was also announced on Conrad's website. In a statement released to People, the couple said,
“We are thrilled to share that we welcomed our son Liam James Tell into our family. Mom, Dad and baby are doing well. We’re already in love!”
Back in early June, Conrad revealed that she was having a son through an Instagram post, which is also the same way she first shared her pregnancy news. Given how social media savvyThe Hills alum is, it's only a matter of time before she shares a photo of the newborn baby with her 6.1 million followers. And also considering how fashion-forward and crafty she is, Conrad is bound to share a perfectly posed snapshot.
That's only further foreshadowed by the fact that the Laguna Beachstar already shared a picture of aneedlepoint, featuring a cute cartoon of the family and their two dogs, Chloe and Fitz.
This is LC's first child with Tell. The pair got married back in 2014 after reportedly meeting on a Valentine's Day blind date in 2012. Fans have been following their love story ever since, including details about their relationship via Conrad's blog.
It's also quite a coincidence that Conrad's Hills co-stars, Whitney Port and Heidi Montag, are also pregnant with their first children right now. While some of them may have had falling outs (ahem,"You know what you did"), there's no way fans aren't crossing their fingers for a Hills 2.0 featuring the next generation. Maybe someday MTV will make that dream come true.
